Willard D. Tompson, P. Geo. of Vernon B.C, is a retired exploration geologist with over 43 years of experience in hard rock exploration geology. He earned his Masters of Applied Geology from Montana State University, Bozeman Montana in 1959 after which time he worked in exploration in Western Montana. In 1962 he moved to Vancouver, BC to work as an exploration geologist for Placer Development Ltd. where he worked primarily on Porphyry Copper and Molybdenum projects in BC, the Yukon Territory and the western United States. In 1966, Mr Tompson established himself as a consultant and since that time has worked on various types of deposits in BC, USA , Mexico and Nigeria. He is a registered professional geologist with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia. Willard is a founder of Telkwa and is intimately familiar with our BC properties. He will provide advice and corporate memory on our existing BC properties and as well as on new acquisitions.
